But hey, it was worth it!
So after lots, and lots of chocolate cookies, I ended up wandering away from the living room’s amazing multi-media production of an old B&W movie on a 18" screen – wandering, that is, back to my native habitat - a 19" LCD with a web connection. :)
But low-and-behold – what an amazing sight I found there! For it was A Squier Bullet [1]! Love at first sight! It was made for me, seeing as I am a brunette and it is teal colored. (For all you color guru’s you will understand that teal looks awesome with brunettes) So I sent out a victory cry to the living room (actually, I wanted to know if it was a good guitar.) and my bro said it was a great beginner's Electric.
Sold.
Before I knew what was going on, the "checkout" button was already in my browser's history. Yep, I now will spend the next few days in victorious anticipation of my new Teal SB. Oh ya!
However, soon after finding the meaning of life – my bro came in to play me Mario bros on his acoustic, ya… anyway, I told him of my new purchase with a smile.
(Next few words (more or less) followed…)
Me: Hey, I bought it.
Bro: what?
Me: see (pointing at the awesomeness on the screen)
Bro: uh, what about our money for [college] books?
Me: What money for books?
Bro: That’s my point...
oops.... uh-well, Bill gates dropped out, so I guess I’m ok?....right?...
I guess I am just going to spend the rest of my years Web'n [2].
Now there is only one catch - uh, where can I learn how to play a guitar?
